EKJ was explicit in its desire to have a flexible, light, interchangeable system which was simple for EKJ to maintain and update on its own. A further requirement was that EKJ’s new graphic identity be implemented as part of the solution.
The solution arrived at centred on DanSign’s modular CurveSign sign system. In order to achieve a homogenous and uniform solution, CurveSign was used consistently for every type of sign - door signs, symbol signs, logos and indoor and outdoor directions.
The result was a visually consistent and uniform solution which gives the visitor the impression of a well-conceived sign system that is easy to follow, underpins EKJ's new design lines and whose colour scheme is in keeping with the surrounding architecture. The system is also so flexible that EKJ can update and replace signs on the spot.
